Every girl’s fantasy…one woman’s dream.

Sophie Butler is sure she’s about to lose her much-needed cleaning job. She’s not only walked in on a guest—a violation of her employer’s cardinal rule—but she can’t seem to tear her gaze away from his gorgeous, naked-as-the-day-he-was-born body.

If all that isn’t bad enough, her usually sensible judgment and behavior are clouded by a nagging sense of familiarity. She knows the man from somewhere, she just can’t quite place him.

Nathan Pace is certain he’s just lost his jealously guarded anonymity. But hold on…if she’s just another fan looking for a piece of his alter ego, rock star Jamie Speed, why is she blushing six shades of scarlet? And why is he instantly aroused? When he catches a glimpse of her eyes, he knows. She’s the woman who for ten years has haunted his dreams.

The attraction that flares between them is undeniable—and unstoppable. But getting close means risking Nathan’s secret identity. Just this once, he’d like a woman to fall for the real man, not the press’s version of a celebrity superstar.

Warning: This may be an erotic contemporary romance, but it does contain a hint of fantasy. And when that fantasy involves erotic dreams about a gorgeous rock star, you know you’re gonna want the fantasy to become reality…

“I dreamed about you last night.”

Her chin dropped. He’d dreamt about her?

Okay, that idea had never once occurred to her. If it had, she’d have researched the idea to the nth degree.

“An erotic dream.” His nostrils flared. “So damn sexy.”

Sophie’s knees turned weak. He’d had an erotic dream. About her.

Her brain scrambled to analyze how that could be. How he could have been the one doing the dreaming. She needed to understand it, almost as much as she needed to understand her own dreams.

In a way it kind of made sense. Nathan had made no secret of his desire for her yesterday. Heck, he’d nibbled on her finger and then raced off, denying them both any further physical pleasure. Perhaps repressing his desire had not made it go away. Perhaps the need had remained with him and expressed itself subconsciously—in a dream.

“Nathan…” She didn’t finish her thought. What could she say? She’d dreamed about him too? The guy would definitely think she was crazy. Or making it up. Besides, Nathan had dreamt about her once. That was all.

She’d dreamt about him her entire adult life.

“It’s your eyes, Sophie.” His gaze caught hers, trapped it. “Your bedroom eyes.”

Her heart seemed to stop beating, just for a second or two, then it kicked back to life, working overtime.

“Every time I think about them, I…” He stared at her, dazed, as though surprised by what he’d been about to say.

“You what?” she asked, her voice a mere murmur. She couldn’t speak any louder. Didn’t have the strength.

His chest rose and fell as he inhaled deeply and then let the air escape in a hiss. She could almost feel it breeze over her cheek, warm and feather soft. “I get an erection.”

Dear Lord. “D-did you have an erection when you dreamed about me?”

He’d had one in her dream. A thick, pulsing erection which he’d fed to her. First to her mouth and then to her drenched, swollen, aching pussy. The same pussy that had woken her as it convulsed around the dream erection, clasping it deep within her body, pleasure swimming through her veins, ecstasy abounding… Until the realization dawned that she held nothing but air, and the last of the dream had slipped away, leaving her disappointed, alone and shivering in the aftermath of another mind-shattering, unreal climax.

His voice was so low when he answered, Sophie nearly came just listening to him. “I had a lot more than just an erection.” He smiled at her, a slow, sensual grin, and kicked a towel off the bed. She hadn’t noticed it there. “Woke up so damn sticky I had to take a shower.”

Holy shit. He’d come too. “W-why are you telling me this?”

“The same reason I waited for you to come in here this morning.” His gaze held hers, implored, seduced. “I don’t just want the dream. I want the real thing. I want you.”

“For what?” She could have kicked herself the second she asked the ridiculous question.

“For whatever we can have together. Look, Sophie, we can’t kid ourselves. I live a million miles away, and I’ll only be in Sydney another two days. But we’re here now, and whatever forces have thrown us together, this feels good now. It feels right.”

If by right he meant tingly all over, shaky with anticipation and desperate to touch, then yes, now did feel right.

“It feels as if it was meant to be,” he said softly.

Well, if her dreams were any indication, this was certainly meant to be. Hadn’t she just read last night, in one of the three hundred articles she’d Googled: Pay attention to what dreams are telling you! You may find your romantic life getting a whole lot more interesting.

Nathan stared into her eyes, taking her breath away. “You want me too.”

It wasn’t a question, but she nodded anyway. She always wanted him. Every time she went to sleep she anticipated meeting up with him in her dreams, making love to him.

Again Nathan muttered under his breath. “Thank fucking God.” He held out his hand. “Come here.”

Sophie hesitated before taking a shaky step forward. Could this be happening? Were her dreams about to come true?”

“Make my dream a reality,” he whispered.

His dream and her dreams. Sophie shivered. She could no more resist his call than she could cease blinking. With two more shaky steps she stood before him and placed a trembling hand in his.

His smile was blinding.

Sophie had maybe a second to be dazzled by it before he tugged firmly on her hand and she tumbled into his arms. Nathan flipped her so she lay beneath his body—his gloriously naked body—and with a hoarse moan he dipped his head and crushed his lips to hers.

divider1-white“Ms. Dee captured me with the first sentence of the story and wouldn’t let me go even at the ending. I found that I had to read See You in My Dreams again just to make sure that I felt the deep emotions of Nathan and Sophie. I am anxiously awaiting the next story in the Speed series especially if it is anything like the Gold Star Award quality of See You in My Dreams.”

divider1-whiteJess Dee is one of my favorite authors because she’s not afraid to be a little bit brave and write something a little bit different. Her characters in See You in My Dreams just shone for me… The path to their HEA is so very satisfying with that little bit of magic thrown in. I just love that Jess can combine an erotic love story with an innocent dream that is unexpected but so very enjoyable.”
