Today Steve’s Story released in print. And to celebrate I took a couple of pics of my very own books.
π
Wanna see them?
The first three are, of course, of Steve’s Story:
Then I thought, hmmm, well Steve’s Story is the second in the Circle of Friends series, so I took a couple of pics of Only Tyler too:
And, well, once I was snapping away anyway, I figured, ok, why not take photos of all my print books together… π
And then I took more photos of Photo Op, Ask Adam and Three’s Company. Lots of them. But since this blog celebrates the release of Steve’s Story, I won’t post the rest here. (Although the temptation is killing me.)
Please – no nasty comments about the quality of the photos. I’m a writer, not a photographer. So I apologize for the shiny glints reflecting off the covers. While the books might look glorious and glossy in my hands, apparently they don’t translate so well into camera talk.
So, want a little reminder about Steve’s Story?
Sure. Here’s the blurb:
When love is threatened by truth, every moment counts?
Circle of Friends, Book 2
Steve Sommers is having a gut-wrenching week. His fianc?e has left him, the woman who broke his heart is back in town?and they?re all gathered at the bedside of his best friend, who?s in a coma. The emotional ties between them are strained to the breaking point. Like it or not, it?s up to Steve to find the strength and compassion to support the four of them through the toughest ordeal of their lives.
In the midst of the turmoil and trauma, passion unexpectedly flares anew between Steve and the woman he loves. Suddenly the future he?d believed lost lies within his reach. But she still carries the secret that once tore them apart, and determined to protect Steve from the truth, she fights their rekindled relationship every step of the way.
Now the fragile bond they?ve developed hangs in the balance, threatened by a reality that love may not be strong enough to overcome?
Product Warnings: This book might just make you cry, but it?ll make you smile as well. The story will probably get you all hot and bothered too. It contains naughty activities in the car, sex on the kitchen counter (and up against the wall), a quickie in the garden, a little experimenting with scarves?oh, and some hot loving in the bedroom.
Did you notice I put the first sentence of the warning in a different color? Well, there?s a reason. The book is pretty sad. It?s also realistic and may not be everybody?s cup of tea. If you?re looking for a light-hearted, fun romance ? this isn?t it. Yep, there?s a happy ending (helloooo? I write romance), but it?s certainly not your classic And they? lived happily ever after ending. If you?re looking for a hero who knows where is heart lies and refuses to give up on his heroine ? no matter what obstacles they face, then this is the book for you!

Not a nasty, but next time photograph shiny ones in daylight, no flash but close to a window. Natural light has less glare.
Am still recovering from Question of Love and Question of Trust but have put Steve’s story on my TBR pile. :o)
Thanx for the photography tips, Heather. In truth, I did all of that – but the darn camera had a mind of it’s own and kept setting the flash off. I asked it to stop, but it didn’t listen. (Just like my kids.)
Hope you enjoyed A Question of Trust and A Question of Love.
Jess
Congrats! Can’t wait to get my shiny copy!
I love how clean your bookshelf is! π
Er, V, is it terrible to admit it’s my son’s bookshelf? There wasn’t much on there so I cleared it quickly for the purposes of the photos.
My bookshelves are so choc-a-bloc full I could not cram a piece of paper in there.
Jess
I -love- the whole shelf of Jess Dee Books. Oh wait! Mine looks almost like that, all the Jess Dee books that is.
Congrats, babe, and may there be many many more on the shelf someday soon.
LOL, Viv – refer to my reply to V’s comment.
But – I like that your bookshelves look like that.

Taking my own photos and uploading them.
Only prob is I’m a lousy photographer.
π
