…since my last post. But I have a really good excuse. I’ve been writing. Yep. I have been so involved in Pen and Steve’s story, I honestly haven’t had a chance to blog.
The good news is the end is in sight. I have it all mapped out in my head. There are probably only about two or three more chapters to go. The bad news is, I still write slow as a slug. Could take a while to finish. But I’m plodding through. Been getting at least two thousand words written, five days a week. Not too shabby for me (she says, proud as punch.)
Haven’t been around on the loops much either. In fact, I’ve missed almost a week’s worth of birthday celebrations. Samhain just turned two, and the authors have been burning up the Cafe with excerpts, posts and prizes. (Not me. I’m writing.)
I believe the new books are out as well. I’m looking forward to posting them here, as I haven’t had a chance to see them yet. Not even sure what’s available. Hopefully a couple good ones to unwind with when I finish the damn book…
The Ride of Her Life by Natasha Moore |
Jesse’s Challenge by Nicole Austin |
Hearts Unbound by Rebecca Goings |
Branded by Beth Williamson |
A Chance to Dream by Lynne Connolly |
Whispered Promise by Kally Jo Surbeck |
The Viscount’s Addiction by Scottie Barrett |
Love on the Run by Marie-Nicole Ryan |
Chance of a Lifetime by Maggie Casper |
Wildish Things by Carolan Ivey |
Heart of the Sea by Sela Carsen |
A Fairy Special Gift by Gia Dawn |
Oh, wow. There are a lot of them. And they look fantastic. Read an excerpt of Jesse’s Challenge by Nicole Austin the other day. I am so buying that book. Ride of her Life, by Natasha Goings is on my TBB list too. Dang – they all look good. Guess I’m going to be reading a lot when Steve’s Story is finally done.
Jess
Good to see you posting again Jess and am so glad you’ve been writing. 2000 words a day is terrific!
Speaking of which, I should go and get some done myself instead of procrastinating on all my friends’ blogs…
