Yes, it’s true. All three books of the Speed series are now available in a box set, called Speed: The Complete Rock Star Collection.
This is your opportunity to blend contemporary romance, erotica and fantasy into one swoonfully romantic reading experience.
(Forgive me for cheating a little, but I’m borrowing the blog I wrote for EverAfter to tell you here how I initially came up with the idea for the Speed.)
See, this series all evolved from one tiny, little innocent daydream. I was listening to my favorite song at the time (Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours) and fantasizing about how cool it would be if I could meet the star in person. With that, my mind immediately began exploring all the possible (okay, impossible) ways to make this happen and settled on the scenario of finding myself seated next to him on a plane trip.
So there I was, happily fantasizing about me and Jason (my new BFF) flying off to who knew where, when it occurred to me…why not make the daydream a reality? Why not embellish it and turn every women’s fantasy into a book?
And so Nathan and Sophie, the hero and heroine from See You In My Dreams, were born. Nathan (otherwise known as Jamie Speed), the gorgeous, American rock star voted the sexiest man alive, and Sophie, a cash-strapped, Australian cleaner struggling to make ends meet. How could they ever find an HEA together?
The book doesn’t feature a plane trip. (That was part of an innocent daydream, and you gotta remember – my stories are never innocent). But it is incredibly sexy, and it’s romantic enough to make you sigh with pleasure…several times over.
Writing that fantasy proved to be so much fun and so satisfying, I couldn’t help but write a second book. And then a third – until all three brothers who make up the rock band Speed found themselves living happily ever after with their destined partners.
Now you can live the fantasies for yourself. You can lose yourself to the real world of everyday women and the fantasy world of superstar men, and just for a while you too can fall in love with a rock star…or three.
