Steve’s Story
When love is threatened by truth, every moment counts?
Circle of Friends, Book 2
Steve Sommers is having a gut-wrenching week. His fianc?e has left him, the woman who broke his heart is back in town -? and they?re all gathered at the bedside of his best friend, who?s in a coma. The emotional ties between them are strained to the breaking point. Like it or not, it?s up to Steve to find the strength and compassion to support the four of them through the toughest ordeal of their lives.
In the midst of the turmoil and trauma, passion unexpectedly flares anew between Steve and the woman he loves. Suddenly the future he?d believed lost lies within his reach. But she still carries the secret that once tore them apart, and determined to protect Steve from the truth, she fights their rekindled relationship every step of the way.
Now the fragile bond they?ve developed hangs in the balance, threatened by a reality that love may not be strong enough to overcome?
Warning: This book might just make you cry, but it?ll make you smile as well. The story will probably get you all hot and bothered too. It contains naughty activities in the car, sex on the kitchen counter (and up against the wall), a quickie in the garden, a little experimenting with scarves – oh, and some hot loving in the bedroom.
Curious to find out more? You can read the first chapter of the book right here.

Hi Jess! Steve’s Story sounds like a fabulous read. I would love to be entered for this contest please, thank you. Beautiful cover.
I love e-books because it takes up less room in my home, fast delivery in email when you buy them don’t have to wait and a lot of the ones I have read were packed with lots of action and very hot scenes. I love the warnings on some of them from the publisher’s 🙂

Why I love ebooks? They are virtually painless on the hands and I can put many ebooks on my memory card for my ereader. Ereaders are great for vacations and traveling, where you could save space in your luggage than ten books.
And yeah the space issue. I can accumulate a lot of ebooks and don’t have to worry about putting them on my shelves (and hubs grumbling about having too many)
Poor Steve. Talk about bad weeks.
I love ebooks because of the immediacy of getting them. I can do a search, find one I want, and be reading it within minutes instead of having to go to a store and get it. Plus, I can do it all without leaving my house. I’ll never have to worry about an ebook being unavailabe either. And they don’t take up nearly as much space as my print books. Lastly, they’re better for the environment.

Deb is letting me on to do this contest. What a doll she is.
She said Bob will buy it anyways.
I enjoy your work. I found you by accident through Maggie Nash’s site. Your books are beyond words. The Passion your characters have is mind blowing.
My favorite book of yours is the Tanners, I am in secret love with Denial.
Thank you for being a wonderful writer.
I love ebooks because I can buy the book and have it right then and ebooks do not take up space in the house.
I cannot wait to get Steve’s Story.
I enjoy ebooks very much because they are right there at your fingertips, my downfall is that I dont have an ereader and it is very hard to stay ont he computer for long time especially with out the kiddos trying to read.
Steve’s Story sounds really good. I enjoy ebooks because they are easier to get, you don’t have to wait for the post office. They are definitely cheaper in many ways. They are better for the environment. We must think green:) Also they are a good reason for my husband to buy me an Kindle, Sony, or Ereader!!!!
Because they are always with me
Because they are acquaired instantly
Because they are small when we move lol
Thanks for the contest!
I would love to win a copy of Steve’s story. I love e-books because they are usually cheaper. I find that their is a wider variety of books to choose from. Plus have them all in one place on my e-reader.
Jess, I loved Only Tyler, so I’m already waiting on Steve’s story.
I love ebooks because I can carry my bookreader in my purse and have lots of books on it. When we lost power for a few days I could read in the dark with the backlighting on mine. I can do markups to highlight great parts, or bits of info I want to remember.
Unlike paper books it doesn’t get dog eared, have the spine break, or pages fall out. The books come instantly with no waiting for delivery or hunting through the book stores. And of course it’s cheaper too, which is a nice bonus.
Basically it’s instant gratification, easier reading, less storage space needed, and with lots of other bonuses thrown in.
Did I miss anything Jess?

Actually I love print books, I love being able to hold the book and get to look at it. I still like e-books, just because they are convenient and if you buy them online you get them right away you don’t have to wait for them to be shipped. So I don’t know if I qualify to win!

Hi Jess, trying my luck again! Ebooks are great for being easy to take with you anywhere/everywhere, and don’t skimp out on gorgeous cover and excellent reads (just like yours 🙂
Sounds great! There is no wait for an ebook, it’s there as soon as you buy it.
Hi Dee! I love that warning for the book!!!
Really, I would of missed some wonderful reads if I didn’t read ebooks! Can’t put it into words how much its given me the opportunity to find a bunch of new authors to read but too, more new genres, varieties, sensualities, and so much more! So for me, Its giving me more to read of what I love to read and being able to know more about what I’m going to read on the sensuality level (I love them to sizzle often and when reading some prints, I’d have no idea).
LOVED the excerpts on the Cafe! I’m looking forward to this one!
I love ebooks because of the space factor, they save paper and trees, no one knows what I am reading unless I tell them, I can get my RIGHT NOW fix, I can load A LOT of books on my ereader which is my eBookman and it’s so small that it fits into everything, so it goes with me everywhere!! I can’t think of a reason NOT to like ebooks!!
I love ebooks for two reasons. One is because of how little space they take up. Two, I’m all about instant gratification 😀
I love ebooks because no matter what time day or night you can shop online and have a book to read instantly! 🙂
Gotta love Sydney Harbour.
I’ve got a photo of us enjoying that view. *sigh* Shame we can’t do it more than once a year.

Why I love Ebboks? Well, I absolutely love to read and it makes it easy to bring all most precious books with me all the time. I have a portable reader and it goes with me all hte time. LOL I just love to read!
Teresa
eBooks are awesome because I have quick access to it … when I want to read a book I want it now and with eBooks, (not all but most) they come out first then print …
:winks:
I’d love to be entered in the draw!
I love eBooks especially when I’m traveling. They don’t get dog-eared or bent beyond recognition in my luggage and they’re at my fingertips without having to dig through my carry-on bags. I can read any genre at any time without worrying that I’ll ‘offend’ someone with it out in the open 😉
Thank you for all of your comments.
I am about to randomly pick a winner from a hat.
Jess
